Graham Hall Excavations is a family run business that has been operating since 1995. We are looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic/Fitter to assist in maintaining our growing fleet of earthmoving and compaction equipment. We work on a range of sites in the Sydney Metro area and surrounds and our workshop is based in the Picton area.

 

About the Role:

 

This position will involve servicing and maintaining machinery in our workshop as well as traveling to attend the plant onsite for breakdowns and scheduled servicing.

 

Daily Tasks include:

 

Efficient diagnosis and repair of mechanical faults.Maintain strict service records for all services, inspections and repairs.Track and order parts, stock and consumables.

 

What we are looking for:

 

Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills. Trade qualificationExperience maintaining and servicing plant equipment.Must have own transport and current drivers licence.Safety orientated, complying with all site safety standards.Must have WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).Good communication skills within company and with clients.Ability to work unsupervised and cooperate in a team environment.Strong initiative, reliable and takes pride in their work.Must be available to work overtime as required (including Saturday) and travel to sites within the Greater Sydney Area.Must pass all random Drug and Alcohol tests.

 

Desirable but not essential:

 

Auto Electrical experience Forklift ticketHR to MC Truck Licence
