An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. This position is a part-time role (3 days a week – Tuesday to Thursday) based in Narellan, NSW.
Reporting to the Shared Services Finance Manager, this position will prepare as well as assist in the preparation and payment of wages, maintenance of employee files and payroll administration across multiple NEPEAN businesses.
Duties will include, but not be limited to;
Processing end to end, multiple weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
Maintain pay records, associated timekeeping data statistics, leave records and related information.
Assist in the processing of workers’ compensation claims.
Process and reconcile end of the financial year.
Monthly reconciling of payroll, PAYG and superannuation
Calculating Termination and Redundancy Pays
Set-Up and termination of new and existing employees.
Processing of headcount, leave reports and other employee-related reporting.
General accounting related tasks and administration as required.
The right person
We are looking for candidates with the following capabilities and skills:
Minimum 5 years prior experience and solid track record in payroll activities.
Experience in multi-site in weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll cycles.
Pronto experience will be highly regarded.
MS Office proficiency
