An Apprenticeship opportunity is currently available in our Company to learn the Trade of a Cabinet Maker, specialising in Furniture Making.
The successful applicant would receive on-the-job training in addition to completing a Trade Certificate III in Cabinet Making (Furniture) at TAFE.
The role would include the following:
- Make measurements and calculate
- Select and apply hardware
- Select timbers and materials
- Use hand and power tools
- Read and Interpret work documents / drawings
- Learn the ability to calculate material and cutting lists
- Prepare and apply decorative surfaces for furniture
- Assemble furniture components
- Install furniture and joinery
- CNC Wood Machining
Ideally we are seeking Applicants who are currently studying or have studied Timber subjects and have a keen interest to pursue a Trade Career in his area.
