**Exciting Career Opportunity for a Service and Installation Technician!**

Prospace Innovations is seeking a talented Service and Installation Technician for an immediate start. Become part of our dynamic engineering team and play a crucial part in not just installing but also servicing all brands of operable walls, bi-fold doors, and glass walls to the highest standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precise installations of operable walls according to project specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to all types of operable and bi-fold doors
  • Implement stringent quality control measures to ensure the highest installation and maintenance standards.
  • Maintain effective and transparent communication with clients and the Prospace management team to achieve success.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation to track job progress and maintain records

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Successful applicants will receive full on-the-job training, so while not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • A valid, unrestricted NSW driver’s licence with a clean driving record
  • General Induction (White Card), Elevated Work Platform (EWP Yellow Card), Working with Children’s Check, current Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Previous experience in construction, operable walls, or roller shutters

 

Personal Skills:

  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Able to work autonomously, comfortable working at heights, and capable of lifting up to 40kgs
  • Proficient in problem solving, and able to think on your feet
  • Self-driven worker who takes initiative and holds themselves accountable
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings
  • Be a confident, experienced driver – travel within Greater Sydney, ACT and parts of New South Wales is expected
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends or overnight stays.
